Sean is the owner of The Academy of Music and Performance. As well as being an instructor at The Academy he is a music theatre, video game and film and television composer. After receiving his Masters Degree in Music and a diploma in Musical Theatre Performance he spent a lot of time performing in the world of musical theatre. Sean is also a working musician, playing guitar and singing locally in his acoustic duo Last Men Standing. Jake has spent years performing in bands and chose to study music at the college level, specializing in Jazz Bass. Today he is a sought after session player as well as being a great teacher at the Academy. Jake has the right mix of energy and enthusiasm to make all his lessons fun and fulfilling.

Dan Taylor has been teaching music for 30 years. Dan is a multi instrumentalist who can teach piano, guitar, drums, woodwinds, strings and brass to students of all ages and abilities. He is originally from Hamilton, Ontario, where he studied piano performance at McMaster University with teachers Ken Gee and Alla Zachiarelli. Dan also has a degree in audio engineering from Recording Arts Canada. Dan encourages live performance for all his students, including participating in festivals, community and private events. Dan currently performs publicly in the rock group 'Sivle'.
